Schutzhund / Dogsport
What is Schutzhund / Dogsport well there are many different interpretations of what and how this sport came and in the main they are all pretty close and have the correct intentions. So I will just put another one on the list.
Schutzhund
= two words 1st Shutz = protect or shelter 2nd Hund = dogSchutzhund started from a temperament test developed by the founder of the German shepherd club back at the turn of the century and this original test was to insure that the breed characteristics were being maintained. Thus ensuring that they would have dogs that could still work stock protects man and is stable animals with in the community.
Schutzhund has three phases to it is not just a one phase activity like so many other dog activities.
