These are pictures of Katie (15 months) going SG 2 under Herr Hartmut Tecshke Northern Districts Rottweiler National Show April 1999. (Handled by P Hendrickson) Katie also went SG 2 the previous week under Ottmar Vogel in the New South Wales Specialty Show.
Katie also went SG4 at the Queensland Championship Show under
Werner Walter Germany.
This was her time in the intermediate class at only 19 months of age.
Katie has been V rated consistently in all her specialty show appearances including her latest Show The NSW Specialty Show 2-3 October 2004 V5 Open bitch Class at 6 years 10 months 3 years older than any other bitch in the class. Katie only needs one more V rating to gain her her NRC[A] National Champion Title
Katie is from Sire: CH. Jagen Blue Rumour Has It (Joss) Joss was imported to Australian around 1990 and is proudly owned by Robin Rogers in South Australia. Katie Dam is Jagersieger Minni who is also owned by Robyn Rogers. The way I came to own Katie was a very interesting story as I am predominately subscribe to the ADRK philosophy. That the Rottweiler should be and excellent exhibit of the breed Based on the FCI breed standard and also must be able to carry out the work. (Schutzhund) I was looking at breeding my bitch Tess and had been looking around for a dog that would improve some of my confirmation short comings. I had come down to two dogs one of which was Joss. It turned out that Minni's sire was the same as Tess' and as Minni was of better confirmation and Robyn was talking about doing a mating between them, I asked if there would be a bitch available and Robyn was very pleased that I (a working person as she put it) wanted one of her breeding. I Tested Joss whenever I visited Robyn's for Specialty shows and was very surprised at what I found he was a very open dog but if you pushed to far you would know all about it. (and he let me know) Joss also a very good balance of the prey and defence drives, these are very important for the working side of things.
Katie has been bred to Urgo Van de Bollobossen BH IPO I (Imp Belgium) Puppies due early March 2001
